Full Moon in Upper Campus
by Cat

Oh moon, your brightness
streaming down, you pull
irresistibly at the blood
in these hopeful veins.
You tug on the tide
of my midnight heart.
I drift through shadows,
spellbound in a dark forest
buzzing with wildness, the
continuous overlapping
spirals of birth and
decay. In the fullness of
your silver light, I offer this
humble breath, just another
orphaned soul wandering
in search of something
hard to name.
